In my experience, that's what most divination is, unless there is direct access to a god. Even in those cases, meanings aren't always clear until after something happens. [He's thinking of Delphi, in truth.] The broad sketch of a thing, and then meaning is brought to the table by all others. When you look at the cards, do you get particular impressions from each image about what a potential fortune might be?

[There is a point, but it relies on a little thinking first. And it's a hack to memorizing.]

Ah, I see. Well, I suppose that's a wise use of resources, if not ideal for all others.
