[HRHR Mission] Interference, interference, interference
WHO? Vex, Chiron, and folks who'd like to opt-in for back up on their HRHR missions!
WHAT? Helping to snipe and otherwise destroy Regency members who threaten COST mission objectives
WHEN? In the chaos of spiderfuckery.
ANYTHING ELSE? Standard violence!

While the wording is straight forward, there is nothing simple about what is to be done. Run interference. Method? Method doesn't matter. Hit and run. Sabotage. Arson? Arson. Anything to ensure that everyone else can complete their objective.
It is a manipulation of chaos. Creating more chaos if need be for the benefit of COST. Most of all, it is responding to the needs of every other mission as quickly as possible.
[ooc: As this HRHR means giving everyone support, please feel free to reach out and let either Vex or Chiron know you'd like their help on your mission!]
Closed to Vex
It was harder to manifest around these accursed devices, and using his hind legs to kick at the agent behind him required far too much application of mana than it ought to have. The agent in question still went spiraling down onto the ground, allowing Chiron to slam a hoof right onto the agent's knee (the crack was sickening, it'd be a hell of a thing to repair), but the concentration meant the other agent grabbed Chiron's arm and yanked it far too hard.
For a second, Chiron flickered in and out like a hologram. Panic washed over his face, and he hoped that look would get him all the help he needed to escape this particular situation.
a million years later, apologies for the slowness!
It has Vex cursing under her breath, scrambling to a higher vantage point. If she had Trinket this would be easier, she could get him to barrel in there, or even ride him in. She watches Chiron flicker, yanked by the other agent - no time. Lightning fast fingers draw an arrow, nock, and let loose, aiming for the agent's shoulder, the second comes less than a moment later, as Vex launches herself off her perch and towards Chiron. It slices through the air, burying the tip deep into their enemies thigh.
"Chiron!"
no subject
The arrow connects to the thigh, and it gives Chiron just enough time to get distance between himself and the two agents. This means bolting as quickly as possible, but Chiron's thundering hooves are soon gone entirely. In this horrifying moment, it is easier to slip into spirit mode and regroup.
Chiron trusts Vex to not run to her side and assure her he's fine. But he does know where she is, and can guess her arrow's range. So still in spirit mode, he moves to the corner opposite of her own perch, then manifests again.
Clearly the elapse of time is nothing. The agents are still there, the one who didn't take a hoof to the knee is moving towards Vex's position. That much Chiron can see, and being out of the range of the magic nullifiers, it's something he can fix.
One arrow lodges into the agent's shoulder. Then another.
A third hits the mid-back, causing the agent to finally faulter.

Another arrow is let loose, slicing through the air, just as her partner manifests opposite of her perch. The cry of pain tells her that it hit it's mark as she turns to face him. His reappearance enough of a distraction for one of their enemies to move in on her position.
He's just as quick to nock and let loose as she, Chiron's arrows burrowing deep into their target one after the other. Shoulders relax as Vex tucks a piece of wayward hair behind her ears, lips curved up into a smile.
"Nice shooting!" Another arrow nocked, letting loose towards the agent Chiron riddled. "You alright?"
no subject
Speaking of. The one that Vex hadn't shot at was starting to move, and so Chiron trained his focus there. He aimed for the head and the neck, and nodded in grim satisfaction as the arrows made their mark.
Said mark was also now down on the ground, perhaps for good. Chiron would wait to make sure. "I think we're at an end here!"
